Designer

Job Description

The in-house designer will work closely with the marketing team to create visual assets that support the overall marketing strategy. They will ensure that all designs align with the brand’s identity and resonate with the target audience.

Duties

Design graphics for digital and print marketing materials.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visuals for campaigns.

Develop branding materials, including logos, brochures, and packaging.

Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and industry best practices.

Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders.

Stay updated on design trends and tools to enhance creativity and effectiveness.

KPIs

Timeliness of project delivery.

Quality and creativity of design outputs (measured through feedback).

Consistency of designs with brand guidelines.

Effectiveness of visual content in driving engagement (e.g., click-through rates).

Several design revisions are required before final approval.

Contribution to overall campaign performance (e.g., sales impact).

Content Creation: Related to the Senior Marketing Executive Manager and Digital Marketing Manager regarding visual content.

Branding: Aligns with the Marketing Director for brand consistency.

Software Scope

The in-house designer will create visual content that aligns with the overall marketing strategy. This includes:

Brand Identity: Designing logos, color schemes, and typography that reflect the brand.

Digital Assets: Creating graphics for social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.

Print Materials: Designing brochures, flyers, posters, and other print collateral.

User Experience (UX) Design: Working on website layouts and ensuring a user-friendly experience.

Presentation Design: Crafting visually appealing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Software Proficiency

The designer should be skilled in the following software:

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Adobe Photoshop: For photo editing and creating graphics.
  • Adobe Illustrator: For vector graphics and logo design.
  • Adobe InDesign: For layout design, especially for print materials.
  • Figma or Sketch: For UI/UX design and prototyping.
  • Canva: For quick graphic creation, especially for social media and digital marketing assets.
  • Adobe XD or InVision: For prototyping and user interface design.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides: For creating presentations.
  • Web Design Tools: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS /WordPress can be beneficial for website design and collaboration with developers.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com for project tracking and collaboration.

2D and 3D Design Scope and Required Skills               

  • 2D Design

The designer will work on various 2D design elements, which include:

  • Graphic Design: Creating logos, banners, infographics, and other visual content.
  • Illustrations: Developing custom illustrations for branding and marketing materials.
  • User Interface (UI) Design: Designing layouts for websites and applications to enhance user experience.
  • Software Proficiency for 2D Design:
  • Adobe Photoshop: For image editing and composition.
  • Adobe Illustrator: For vector graphics and illustrations.
  • Figma or Sketch: For UI design and prototyping.
  • 3D Design

The designer may also engage in 3D design, especially if the marketing strategy involves product visualization or immersive experiences. This includes:

  • 3D Models: Creating realistic product models for marketing materials or advertisements.
  • Animations: Developing 3D animations for video content or digital ads.
  • Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR): Designing experiences that allow users to interact with products in a virtual space.
  • Software Proficiency for 3D Design:
  • Autodesk Maya or Blender: For 3D modeling and animation.
  • Cinema 4D: For motion graphics and 3D design.
  • 3ds Max: For architectural visualization and product design.
  • Unity or Unreal Engine: For developing interactive experiences in VR/AR.
